Double Axel

Definition:

The DOUBLE AXEL is like an AXEL but the kite makes two complete rotations. The transition between rotations should be imperceptible.

The DOUBLE AXEL is not two separate AXELS flown one after another.

Key elements:

Two flat rotations (720°). Imperceptible transition between rotations. Only one input for the rotations. Nose-up entry and exit

Minimal loss in altitude.

Judges View:

Visible stall. Two flat rotations with one input. Nose up IN and OUT.

Common Errors:

No stall. Several inputs to keep the kite moving (= NO DOUBLE AXEL = 0). Exit sideways.
